Our sweet corn is finally ripe. After a very cool Spring and early Summer, our corn is ready to be picked. The best sweet corn in Thurston County will be available starting Tuesday Sept. 6th. You won’t want to miss out on these sweet tender ears of corn.
It is peak season for our strawberries and they are sweet and delicious this year. The berries came on about two weeks late because of the cool spring, but since we started picking the weather has been very cooperative. We haven’t been too hot, so the berries aren’t getting over ripe on us, and there hasn’t been a lot of moisture which means not as many mildew or mold problems. All of this has contributed to a wonderful crop that is of great quality and taste.
